Rosemary Beaton is well known for her quirky, colourful and fearless drawings. She has been compared with Nicki de St Phalle, Pat Douthwaite and Picasso! She is admired for her remarkable draughtsmanship which is vibrant, energetic and characterised by the most marvellous line. She uses colour with skill and abandon.
Rosemary has been life drawing weekly for the last 30 years. Her dedication to this genre is unshakeable and within it she has been able to push the boundaries of the subject in distinctive, personal and fascinating ways.
We are privileged to have her come all the way from Glasgow. This is a rare opportunity to witness life drawing with a difference and to share in and learn from Rosemary’s enthusiasm and inventiveness in drawing the human figure.
